In a make task you use the skills you have learned to create a program from scratch. There is no starter code: you begin with an empty editor.
This time you do not output the bare contents of the variables. Each piece of information goes into a full sentence of its own.
Assign a name and a favourite food to 2 separate variables with suitable names, and output two sentences: the first with the name, the second with the favourite food. Concatenate the contents of each variable into its sentence rather than typing the values out inside the text.
Use these values and these exact sentences, so that the output can be checked automatically:
Andyfish and chipsYour program should output exactly this:
My name is Andy
My favourite food is fish and chips
Neither sentence ends with a full stop, so do not add one. Do watch the space before the name and before the food, since concatenation never adds a space of its own.
Make sure that you check for the following things:
= for assignment.+ symbol to concatenate (join).+ symbols and the variable names are not surrounded by speech marks.
