The sum of the weights of the gut, meat and shell don’t necessarily match the total weight. Before the meat is weighted, the researchers let it bleed out. So a small fraction of the total weight is actually leaked fluids, and the amount of fluids lost can be an indication of overall health of the animal. But it can also highlight errors in the data.

Create a new dataset weights containing only the weight variables and the gender.
