Het coronavirus verspreidt zich verder over meerdere landen. De besmetting vindt plaats van persoon tot persoon en de situatie in een getroffen gebied kan snel evolueren. De universiteit volgt de situatie op de voet en vindt het belangrijk jullie op de hoogte te houden van de stand van zaken.

De UGent volgt strikt alle maatregelen die met betrekking tot het coronavirus door de overheid worden opgelegd. Individuele UGent-medewerkers en -studenten dienen hetzelfde te doen. Wat verplaatsingen naar het buitenland betreft: raadpleeg steeds de bijbehorende reisadviezen van Buitenlandse Zaken en volg deze op. Beslissingen omtrent het laten doorgaan, uitstellen of annuleren van verplaatsingen naar het buitenland dienen ermee in overeenstemming te zijn.

Belangrijk: de reisadviezen van Buitenlandse Zaken spelen in op de actuele situatie en veranderen bijgevolg dagelijks. Gelieve ze daarom voldoende vaak te raadplegen.

The coronavirus is spreading further across several countries. Infections take place from person to person and the situation in an affected area can evolve quickly. The university is closely following up on the situation and wants to keep you informed.

Ghent University strictly follows all measures imposed by the government with regard to the coronavirus. Individual Ghent University employees and students must do the same. With regard to trips abroad: always consult the corresponding travel advice from Foreign Affairs and follow this up. Decisions regarding the continuation, postponement or cancellation of journeys abroad must be in accordance with this.

Important: the travel advice from Foreign Affairs responds to the current situation and therefore can change daily. Therefore, please consult them often enough.
