In a make task you use the skills you have learned to create a program from scratch. There is no starter code: you begin with an empty editor.
Write a program that works out the volume and the total surface area of a cuboid: a box shape with a height, a width and a length.
print followed by an input() that collects the answer. Convert all 3
answers to whole numbers and store them in variables. The volume is 24
The surface area is 52
The volume is the height multiplied by the width multiplied by the length.
The total surface area is the area of all 6 faces added together. The faces come in 3 matching pairs, so it is the 3 different face areas added up and then doubled:
2 * (height * width + width * length + height * length)
All 3 measurements are whole numbers, so both answers are whole numbers too.
Ask the three questions with their own print, exactly as written, in this
order:
Enter the height:Enter the width:Enter the length:The questions are part of the checked output, so spelling, capital letters and punctuation count.
Input:
2
3
4
Output:
Enter the height:
Enter the width:
Enter the length:
The volume is 24
The surface area is 52
Input:
13
27
8
Output:
Enter the height:
Enter the width:
Enter the length:
The volume is 2808
The surface area is 1342
Make sure that you check for the following things:
= for assignment.print is wrapped in str().
